Daily Admission and Annual Passes both include all-day access, so you’re welcome to come, explore, leave, and return the same day with your wristband. Activity times and offerings are subject to change without notice. Capacity may be limited for select activities and crafts while supplies last. Shark Week activities are available to paid guests during normal operating hours. Join us for Fall in Love with Animals Again, a special January event designed to spark fascination, inspire care, and remind us why animals hold such a special place in our hearts. During this event, guests can enjoy extra animal encounters and special interactions, making each visit feel even more meaningful and magical.
This isn’t just about seeing animals – it’s about feeling connected to them. It’s about slowing down, asking questions, and rediscovering that “wow” feeling when a child locks eyes with a stingray or learns something new about a creature they’ve never met before.

💙 Valentine’s Day at Blue Zoo Baton Rouge (21+)

This Valentine’s Day, Blue Zoo is turning into the most unexpected date-night spot in Baton Rouge. From hands-on art to a Louisiana-style crawfish feast and a cozy rom-com reveal, this adults-only evening is crafted for couples and friend groups who love doing something a little different.

💫 What’s Included

🎨 Sip & Paint

At 4 PM, ease into the night with a creative paint session, complete with canvas, brushes, aprons, and all supplies provided.
It’s relaxed, colorful, and the perfect way to start your Valentine’s experience together.

🦞 Crawfish Boil

Bring on the flavor!
We will be serving fresh crawfish plus iced tea to sip between bites.
Classic Louisiana comfort, Blue Zoo style.

📸 Photo Moments + Laser Tag Breaks

From 6–7 PM, enjoy playful, adults-only photo ops and quick laser-tag fun with support from JCPenney, Main Event, and our Blue Zoo team.
We’ll have themed décor and exclusive partner passes to make the night extra special.

🎬 Rom-Com Movie Night

At 7 PM, snuggle in for a private screening hosted by AMC Theatres 15.
Movie title will be revealed closer to the event, but expect something sweet, funny, and perfect for Valentine’s Day.

🌊 Your Blue Zoo Access

Doors open at 3 PM for adults to explore the aquarium in a rare, kid-free atmosphere. Meet our animals, wander the exhibits, and enjoy the magic of Blue Zoo in a whole new way.!

Did you know March 29 is National Mermaid Day?

In honor of the special day, come join us at our event Wish Upon a Starfish! You will have the opportunity to meet and interact with several of our mermaids, play games, take pictures and create amazing memories with your little guppies.

This event is March 29th, 2026 from 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM.
